Over the weekend I made a new Instructables guide for a Weather Forecast Cloud. It uses some neopixels cut off of a reel and a Raspberry Pi Zero. I am working on the code for other devices such as Raspberry Pi Sense hat and Pimoroni Blinkt. I will be putting the code up on GitHub later today once I clean it up some and test it.
I put my newest Instructables guide up tonight. Its a sign I made on my Shapeoko 3 that lights up and the colors can be changed with an IR remote.
I put the guide to my binary game up on Instructables.
Last year for Halloween I went as Fix-It Felix, Jr. from the Disney movie Wreck-It-Ralph. I put a guide up on Instructables on how I made the costume.
I made a cool Instructables project the other week using a 3d printed heart, arduino gemma, neopixels, cloche. The guide is available here.
I’m a fan of Saturday Night Live and Star Wars. When I saw the skit with Kylo Ren as an Undercover Boss called Matt I knew what my first cosplay costume was going to be.
Here is the skit for those that have not seen it yet. Star Wars Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base – SNL
I had a Disney Cruise coming up shortly that also had a Star Wars Day at Sea. So some of my items weren’t an exact match. I also did not go with the wig since I couldn’t find a good one in time.
On the cruise I only found two other people dressed up as Matt. The outfit got good feedback and everyone seemed to like it.
You can check out the Instructables that I made here
Since I dont have a wood CNC machine I needed to find a way to transfer my template to the wood before cutting it on the scroll saw. Oneof the ways I found was using a wood burning tool and an image printed on the laser printer.
Here is the guide I did for Instructables.
This is my interpretation of a ray gun that I made with some parts found at Delaney’s Surplus a few years ago. Check it out at my Instructables page here.
With my Lulzbot Taz 5 printer I wanted a way to print multiple colors using a single extruder. With Simplify3d I was able to create multiple processes that allowed me to swap colors at set heights.
The guide is here at Instructables
The model I used was from Thingiverse
